Will Lekue be around Athletic for a while?
During his stay with the Bilbao team, the right winger received several offers within LaLiga, including from Europe. Sometimes it was Real Sociedad that made him leave San Mamés and play at the Reale Arena. But the winger has always shown loyalty and commitment to the Lions’ club. Something that has earned him a place in Bilbao’s history.
Now the question is, will he continue at Athletic beyond 2025? His current contract is signed up to this date and there is currently no talk of an extension..
