KKR vs LSG: Dekock's excellent wicket-keeping after batting 20 overs, caught diving 7ft

In match 66 of IPL 2022 played at DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai, Lucknow Super Giants scored 210 runs from 20 overs without losing any wickets after playing first. Quinton de Kock came back undefeated with 140 and captain KL Rahul with 68 for Lucknow. De Kock scored his first century this season. He scored 140 no outs on 70 balls with the help of 10 fours and 10 sixes. After batting 20 overs, he, too, looked quite agile on the pitch.

Mohsin Khan did the first for Lucknow. On the fourth ball of the over, Quinton de Kock made a brilliant catch by diving some 7 feet into the air in the blink of an eye. Venkatesh Iyer went for a good shot near Mohsin’s stump. The ball went in and caught the inside edge of the bat and went to the right of the deck. Dekock looked behind the wicket very quickly and made a brilliant save. During this, Harbhajan Singh, who was making comments, praised him fiercely.

Due to excellent bowling by Mohsin Khan (3/20) and Stoinis (3/23), Lucknow Super Giants defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 2 runs in match 66 of IPL 2022 played at DY Patil Sports Academy on Wednesday. Lucknow had scored 210 runs from 20 overs without losing a wicket, in which Quinton de Kock (140 not eliminated) and captain KL Rahul (68 not eliminated) shared a record opening partnership of 210 runs from 121 balls.
