Kevin Durant, star of the Brooklyn Nets, asked his team to be transferred this Thursday, according to the chain ‘ESPN’ and the portal ‘The Athletic’.
Days after Kyrie Irving confirmed that he is staying with the Nets, Durant, 33, asked to be traded and the Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns are among the teams interested in signing him, said Adrian Wojnarowski of ‘ESPN’.
Durant, a two-time NBA champion with the Warriors, averaged 29.9 points, 7.4 rebounds and 6.4 assists per game last season with the Nets.
The Brooklyn team had a campaign marked by ups and downs and was eliminated in the first round of the playoffs by the Boston Celtics with a resounding 4-0.
In his career, Durant played for the Seattle Super Sonics, the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Warriors and the Nets.
