The Dominican Republic’s all-time winter ball home run leader will headline a group of seven sluggers to battle it out in the Legends Day Home Run Derby, organized by the National Federation of Professional Baseball Players.
Juan Francisco, from the Gigantes del Cibao and with his 83 home runs, will lead the troop for the event to be held on December 4, starting at 5 pm
Along with Francisco, Mel Rojas, Wendell Rijo, Carlos Peguero, Orlando Calixte, Sandber Pimentel and Aderlin Rodríguez will participate in the Derby.
In the third edition of the event, the career of Albert Pujols will be recognized, who also ensured his presence at the event, which represents the break from the Winter Baseball All-Star Game and is organized by the National Federation of Professional Baseball Players.
The executive director of Fenapepro, Vian Araujo, indicated that Nelson Cruz, Carlos Santana, Ketel Marte, Carlos Gómez and Freddy Peralta have also confirmed their presence.

Also with Carlos Santana, Ketel Marte, Framber Valdez and the manager of the Dominican team for the World Baseball Classic, Rodney Linares.
