The Spanish Antía Jácome and María Corbera achieved this Friday the gold medal in the C2 200 test of the sprint canoeing World Cup which takes place in Szeged (Hungary), where the first was also bronze in C1 200 and the female and male K4 500 boats won silver.

Antía Jácome and María Corbera, who were already runners-up last year at the European Championships in Munich, they got into the final as the winners of their heat today they maintained their dominance with a time of 44.46ahead of the two finalist Chinese couples: Shuai Changwen and Wenjun Lin, who were ahead by 30 hundredths (44.77), and Shixiao Xu and Mengya Sun, who finished at 1.92 (46.39).

AND the fourth metal of the day was hung by the current champions of the men’s K4 500, Saúl Craviotto, Carlos Arévalo, Marcus Cooper and Rodrigo Germade, who were also silver by only 16 hundredths of a second.
