Italian League: Inter won thanks to Lautaro

The forward of the Argentine national team Lautaro Martínez, world champion 2022, converted the two goals with which Inter defeated bottom club Cremonese 2-1 in an early clash of the twentieth date of the Italian League. The 25-year-old from Bahia started, scored the goals at 21m and 20m in each stage, reached eleven conquests in the tournament, two less than the leader of the scorers’ table, the Nigerian Victor Osimhem, and achieved his sixth both in seven games played this year.

After finishing blank in FIFA’s top competition in the Middle East, Lautaro, who was replaced by his compatriot Joaquín Correa 21 minutes into the second half, was reunited with the goal for his club both in Serie A and in the Italian Cup as in the Italian Super Cup, which the “neroazurro” team won against its greatest rival Milan.

With this result, Inter rose to second place with 40 points, ten less than the leader Napoli, who will host Roma this Sunday (37). Meanwhile, Cremonese – in which Nigerian striker David Okereke scored – remains last with eight points.

In the other matches played this Saturday, Torino drew 2-2 with Empoli and Atalanta beat Sampdoria 2-0.
