Tehran: Ignoring the pressure of world powers, Iran unveiled its ballistic missile.

According to foreign media reports, Iran’s latest ballistic missile was unveiled today in a ceremony in which the Iranian Defense Minister also participated.

The event also introduced the latest products of the Defense Ministry’s Aerospace Industries Organization, including the 2,000 km ballistic missile Khorramshahr.

Defense officials introduced the Generation 4 Khorramshahr ballistic missile, called Khyber, with a range of 2,000 km (1,243 mi) and can carry a 1,500 kg warhead.

The missile is claimed to be able to hit its target accurately.

According to defense officials, the Khorramshahr 4 missile’s engine is among the most powerful of its kind, resulting in a speed of sixteen times the speed of sound in space and eight times the speed of sound near the ground.

Iran has expanded its missile program, especially its ballistic missiles, despite opposition from the United States and concerns expressed by European countries.
