Kagiso Rabada will play for Punjab Kings at IPL 2022
It happened as expected. A great effort was made to include the South African fast bowler Kagiso Rabada in his team. Many teams bid for him and in the last one Punjab Kings made the highest bid of 9.25 and now he has become a part of this team. He was previously playing for Delhi Capitals. But now they have a new team.
Kagiso Rabada was a former part of Delhi Capitals and there was a high chance they would retain him but Delhi Capitals retained their player only four but Kagiso Rabada’s name was not included in it. Apart from the Indian players, Rabada’s own compatriot Enrich Norkhia was included in the squad and let Rabada go. Although no one understood or digested this, but it was so if it happened. But this time, Kagiso Rabada entered the field with a base price of two million rupees and hassled teams into spending a lot of money.
Talking about Kagiso Rabada’s IPL career so far, he has played 50 IPL matches so far and has taken 76 wickets on his behalf. Rabada has taken four wickets on four occasions, though he has yet to take five wickets on his behalf in a match. Kagiso Rabada has an average of 20.52, while his economy is 8.21. I mean, he’s known for taking ground brilliantly. With Kagiso Rabada also contributing heavily to the good performance of the Delhi Capitals team in the last two IPLs, it remains to be seen how Rabada performs for his new IPL team.
