IPL: Lots of important changes in the team from captain to coach, the entire Lucknow team is like that

Lucknow Super Giants have made a lot of changes ahead of IPL 2024. The franchise had recently appointed Nicholas Pooran as the team’s vice-captain. Now there has also been a change in the support staff. Lucknow has appointed Lance Klusener as assistant coach. Klusener had a storming performance for South Africa at the 1999 World Cup. Not only did he score 281 runs in 9 matches but he also took 17 wickets. Lucknow’s captain KL Rahul can also be seen on the field this season.

In fact, Lucknow recently announced the appointment of Klusener as assistant coach. His cricket career was excellent. He also has good experience in coaching. He was the head coach of the Afghan cricket team. In addition, he also played an important role for Zimbabwean cricket. Now he will be seen with Lucknow Super Giants in the Indian Premier League 2024.

Lucknow’s regular captain KL Rahul was ruled out due to injury midway through last season. His last IPL match was against Royal Challengers Bangalore. After that, Krunal Pandya took over as captaincy of the team. Lucknow had shown excellent performances in the last season. But the team couldn’t even reach the final. They were defeated by Mumbai Indians by 81 runs in the eliminator. However, this time KL Rahul can take the field. Rahul recently traveled to London for treatment. He is suffering from an injury. No information has been revealed about when Rahul will return to the field.

If we look at the current situation, KL Rahul will be the captain of the team. Nicholas Pooran was appointed vice-captain. Justin Langer is the head coach. Lance Klusener is the assistant coach. Morne Morkel was given the responsibility as bowling coach while Jonty Rhodes was given the responsibility as fielding coach. Praveen Tambe is the team’s spin coach. Furthermore, MSK Prasad has also been retained in the support staff.
