The first match of IPL will be played between Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings. Though this match will be held at Ahmedabad Stadium.

In the last season i.e. IPL 2022, Chennai Super Kings appeared in very poor condition. CSK finished the tournament staying in ninth position. The team won only 4 of 14 matches. Chennai was the second worst team in the tournament.

Dhoni is the second most successful captain in IPL history so far. Under his captaincy, he has given CSK four titles so far. Dhoni has played a total of 234 matches in his IPL career so far. In 206 innings of these matches, he has scored 4978 runs at an average of 39.2 and a strike rate of 135.2. Dhoni has scored 24 half centuries in this. At the same time, 346 fours and 229 sixes have come out of his bat.
