IPL 2022: purple cap removed from the hand of Chahal, this Sri Lankan spinner captured

The Purple Cap has come from the hands of Rajasthan Royals bowler Yuzvendra Chahal. He has now been taken over by RCB’s Sri Lankan spinner, Wanindu Hasaranga. As well as taking two wickets in Friday night’s match, Hasranga snatched the purple cap from Chahal this IPL season.

Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Wanindu has taken 23 wickets in 13 matches so far this season with a bowling average of 14.65. His bowling economy has been 7.48. Rajasthan Royals spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has also taken 23 wickets this season. In the next Rajasthan match, this purple cap can be seen coming at them again. Today Harshal Patel, Kagiso Rabada and Kuldeep Yadav are also included in this Purple Cap breed.
