One of the most anticipated novelties of the iPhone 14 Pro Max is its new set of cameras. Apparently all the sensors will be improved in 2022, however this will make your module even more outstanding.
It is one thing to say that the module will be bigger and another thing is to see what its real dimension is. Fortunately, we can already prove it thanks to a recently published photo that places the iPhone 14 Pro Max and iPhone 13 Pro Max side by side.
iPhone 14 Pro Max will bring new cameras, but an even more prominent module
The image appeared on the social network Twitter courtesy of the user @lipilipsi. This one made a brief comparison between the upcoming iPhone 14 Pro Max and the existing iPhone 13 Pro Max.
In addition to the disappearance of the notch on its screen, the most notable difference is even the module of its rear camera. As the image above demonstrates, this will be even more prominent and even harder to hide without a protective cover.
If you think the iPhone 13 Pro camera module is big, wait until the iPhone 14 Pro launch. According to some already shared schematics, the new module will be 4.17mm thick, 36.73mm wide and a height of 38.21 mm.
We are talking about a 5% increase in all physical aspects of the iPhone 14 Pro camera. This means that the protective cases designed for the iPhone 13 range will not be suitable for its successors.
In exchange for this physical increase, the user will receive a new main camera with a resolution of 48 MP. One of the reasons that led Apple to improve this sensor is the possibility of recording video in 8K, something that the iPhone does not yet offer.
The wide-angle and telephoto lenses of the iPhone 14 Pro will also be improved, however, we do not yet have great details about what is new. It is something that we will have to wait at least until the presentation of the iPhone 14 range.
Speaking of which, it looks like Apple will be revealing its new smartphones a bit earlier than usual. The US event is rumored to take place on September 6 and the products will hit stores on September 13.
