iPhone 13: new bug causes CarPlay app to crash

The latest complaint from iPhone 13 users with iOS 15 comes with the CarPlay app.
According to some reports posted on Apple’s support page, users talk about CarPLay’s sudden failure when trying to play music.

CarPlay error interrupts music playback

Complaints pile up all over the internet, whether it’s in forums dedicated to Apple or even on the company’s support pages. Apparently a new bug causes CarPlay to crash suddenly whenever users try to play music through Apple Music or third-party apps like Spotify.

According to the same reports, the problem remains whether the iPhone 13 is used wirelessly or wired. Apparently, if Bluetooth is active, the music app (be it Spotify, Apple Music, and others) remains on the screen, but if the user switches to another app, music playback stops.

Fixing the CarPlay bug found by users

Most of the affected users quickly turned to Apple for assistance, but were directed to information and articles that did not help to fix the problem.
It was then that some users analyzed the problem in detail and found not one, but two ways to fix the situation.

Apparently resetting the iPhone 13’s network settings can help, as can disabling the equalizer (EQ), ensuring that the Late Night option is disabled in the Apple Music app settings as well.
Some users also point out that they have been informed by Apple support that this may be a widespread problem that could be fixed in a future update.
