Apple’s next batch of software updates for all of its devices will arrive in exactly one week, the October 25.
It will be then when we see the release of iOS 15.1, iPadOS 15.1, watchOS 8.1, tvOS 15.1 and macOS Monterey.
These new versions are needed for the new AirPods announced today, which, incidentally, will begin shipping the day after the software release, the October 26th.
macOS Monterey is also the software that will arrive installed on the recently announced 14″ and 16″ MacBook Pros with the new M1 Pro and M1 Max chipsets. They will also be available on October 26th.
IOS 15.1 is expected to finally bring the support for SharePlay, which will allow you to remotely view and listen to streaming content with your friends via FaceTime.
In addition, the iPhone 13 Pro is expected to already incorporate the ability to record video in ProRes format and, of course, bug fixes identified in iOS 15 should also be present.
