Apart from this, Richa Ghosh scored 86 while captain Harmanpreet Kaur played a brilliant innings of 69 runs. With this, for the first time in the history of women’s Test cricket, a team has scored 600 runs in an innings, in which the Indian team has managed to do this feat. At the same time, Team India has now also registered the record of scoring the highest score in an innings in women’s Test cricket. Earlier this record was in the name of the Australian women’s team, who scored 575 runs in their first innings in the Perth Test match against the South African team in the year 2023.
