Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir, protest in British Parliament

LONDON: Occupied Kashmir has been protested in the British Parliament over human rights violations by the Indian Army.

According to ARY News, Mashaal Malik, wife of Kashmiri Hurriyat leader Yasin Malik, has welcomed the protest in the British Parliament.

In his statement, Mashaal Malik said that the demand for a transparent investigation into the massacre of Kashmiris was welcome and serious human rights violations were taking place in India.

He demanded that the world should also take notice of the ongoing persecution in occupied Kashmir.

It may be recalled that last year, former Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar had written a letter to the British Parliament against 13 extrajudicial killings and atrocities committed by the Indian Army in occupied Kashmir.

The letter, written by Chaudhry Sarwar, exposed Indian barbarism in the occupied valley and demanded that the issue of Indian atrocities be raised in the British Parliament.

Meanwhile, Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar had released a video statement on atrocities in Kashmir and the letter in which he said that the British government and members should play a role against oppression in occupied Kashmir.

He further said that Modi was committing atrocities against Indian Muslims and Kashmiris.
