The Indian cricket team’s schedule is about to get really busy. After the IPL 2025 wraps up on May 25, they’ll face off against South Africa in a series of five T20 and three ODI matches in November and December.
India will also play series against Australia, Bangladesh, and the West Indies. But first, they’ll take on South Africa. The ODI series kicks off on November 30 in Ranchi, followed by matches in Raipur and Visag. The T20 series starts on December 9 in Cuttack.

After the IPL, India heads to England for a five-test series. Then, they’re off to Bangladesh. In September, they’ll play in the T20 Asia Cup. The West Indies team will visit India for two test matches, possibly in Mohali and Kolkata. Before facing South Africa, India will tour Australia for three ODIs and five T20 matches.
The World Test Championship’s 2025-27 cycle is also set to begin. For now, Indian players are focused on the IPL 2025, which could bring some new faces to the team for the 2026 T20 World Cup.
