India Announces ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2022 Team, Captain Yash Dhull
The BCCI announced on Sunday the Indian team for the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2022. The captain of this team will be Yash Dhul from Delhi. Starting on January 14, this tournament will be played in the West Indies from January 14 to February 5, 2022 in four host countries. In the 14th edition of the tournament, 16 teams will compete for the trophy in 48 matches. India has announced a 17-player squad for the World Cup.

India is the most successful team having won four titles in 2000, 2008, 2012 and 2018. India has been runner-up at the 2016 and 2020 U19 World Cups.
The top two teams from each of the four groups in the format will advance to the Super League, while the remaining teams will join the plate for 23 days of competition. India U19 move into Group B.
