Luck has fully favored India’s star fast bowler, Jasprit Bumrah. Everything is going in his favor right now. Whether it’s capturing the India team captaincy a day before the fifth test against England or achieving the most records in top batting, Bumrah is everywhere.
Bumrah may have lost the toss at the Edgbaston test, but after that luck favored him. Batting first at No. 10 in the early innings, he scored 29 runs in the over of Stuart Broad and went undefeated on 31-of-16 balls. With the help of his innings record, India crossed the 400-run mark.

In this over as well, Bumrah bowled the last ball to Ollie Pope, which the referee ruled a no ball. After this, on the next ball, Bumrah had Shreyas Iyer catch Pope on the second slide. This was also the third Bumrah ground of this entry. He took the top three wickets in England. By the time the news was written, Bumrah had taken three wickets for 30 runs in seven overs. England had scored 60 runs for the loss of three wickets in response to India’s 416.
