According to a report by PTI/Bhasha, the veteran players of the Indian team will rest before the West Indies tour. At the same time, under the leadership of Hardik Pandya, the second team, that is, the youth brigade, can be deployed against Afghanistan. Significantly, after playing IPL for two months now all 15 senior players of the team have started leaving for England. Some have already left, while others will leave after the IPL final on May 28. Hardik is not part of the test team, so he can handle the reins against Afghanistan.
