The Indian team has to play the World Test Championship final against Australia from June 7-11 at the Oval in London. After that, at the end of June, the team is due to leave for the West Indies for a grand tour. The team will play Test ODI and T20 on this tour. However, his full schedule has yet to be revealed. Information also came to light on Thursday night that the India-Afghanistan series to take place during this period is under threat. But now, in the latest report that has come out, it is said that the India team may deploy its youth brigade against Afghanistan.

According to a report by PTI/Bhasha, the veteran players of the Indian team will rest before the West Indies tour. At the same time, under the leadership of Hardik Pandya, the second team, that is, the youth brigade, can be deployed against Afghanistan. Significantly, after playing IPL for two months now all 15 senior players of the team have started leaving for England. Some have already left, while others will leave after the IPL final on May 28. Hardik is not part of the test team, so he can handle the reins against Afghanistan.

If we talk about the empty window, then the time from June 20 to 30 is visible for the India and Afghanistan series. During this, BCCI can perform just one ODI or just the T20 series. During this many young players who performed brilliantly in IPL 2023 can also get into Team India. At the same time, many of those players who are fighting for a place in the senior team can also make it into this team. Players like Sanju Samson, Rahul Tripathi can be part of this team. While Suryakumar Yadav can be an important part of this team. Apart from this one can also see many new faces like Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rinku Singh and Tilak Verma who have performed brilliantly in IPL.
