“Someone cremated their father yesterday only to find out the next day that he was alive, while another family realized that it was their relative who was actually dead,” Health Minister Danijel said on Thursday. Besic Loredan during a press conference.

The two men in wheelchairs were the same age and came from the same nursing home. They had been taken to the hospital in the town of Celje for health reasons, in the same ambulance. The mistake was discovered when the other man, alive and well, returned to the nursing home after his recovery.
