According to the report, this fee is likely to be increased by 15 percent for the year 2023. The new corridor fee will be applied from January 1, 2023.
Osama Rabbi, chairman of the Suez Canal Authority, told media representatives yesterday, however, he says that the fees for ships carrying large numbers of tourists will increase by 10 percent.
It should be noted that the Suez Canal is the most important source of income for Egypt. This canal is a sea passage in Egypt that connects the Mediterranean Sea with the Gulf of Qallam.
