RIYADH: The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has issued various clarifications and instructions regarding Umrah permit and answered various questions.
Dr. Hisham Saeed, spokesperson of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, has clarified that it is not possible to change the Umrah permit, the date and time of the Umrah permit cannot be changed.
The spokesman said that obtaining Umrah permit through Atimrana app is important and easy, there is no scope to change the time in Umrah permit, however, another permit can be issued after canceling it before the time of Umrah permit starts.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said that the minimum age for issuing a permit is 5 years, permits are not issued for children younger than that.
Earlier, while answering the question about the permit regarding being unvaccinated, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said that it is mandatory for the permit that the applicant is not suffering from corona virus.
Regarding bus ticket refunds, the ministry said that by going to the Atimrana app, click on the bus ticket option in the settings, where the bus tickets that can be purchased will be displayed which can be cancelled.
