According to the PTI news agency, in the information given by the IPL it has been said that if the match is not played due to rain during the play-off matches, then the finalist or winner will be decided with the help of Super Over. This rule will be applicable for the Qualifier-1, Eliminator and Qualifier-2 of the playoffs as BCCI has not kept any reserve days for this. If even super over conditions are not created in these matches, the finalists will be decided on the basis of the points table.
At the same time, according to the IPL guidelines, the tie-break match in the tie-break must be at least 5 overs. Apart from this, if such situations do not arise, then you can take the help of superover. If the match does not result in a Super Over, the team that is in the highest position in the points table after the 70-match season will be declared the winner of the respective play-off or final match.
Apart from this, if a ball is also thrown in the final match on May 29, then the match will start from there on the next day. If the match is not played due to rain, it will be decided by the super over. Apart from this, if a single over is not possible, then the winner will be declared based on the points table.
