How often should you wash your jeans?

A garment like no other. Unless you have stained them, it is strongly recommended not to systematically wash your jeans after wearing them only once. And for good reason, it shortens their lifespan.

To preserve its quality, specialists unanimously explain that washing is necessary only after several uses. More precisely, it is advisable to wear it for four to six days, consecutive or not, before putting it in the machine.

To get rid of the body odor that can build up there, manufacturers recommend that you don’t keep your jeans in your closet at the end of the day. Ideally, put it on a hanger or on a coat rack, outdoors, so that the fabric breathes.

Regarding machine washing, be sure to turn your jeans over and use a maximum 30 ° C program, as too hot water is likely to cause discoloration. Lastly, do not put it in the dryer.
