Hezbollah responds to attacks in Syria with rockets on a barracks in northern Israel

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, at least 36 Syrian government troops and six members of the Lebanese Shiite group Hezbollah were killed this morning in a series of bombings by Israel against several positions in Aleppo province in northern Syria. .

According to the Syrian Defense Ministry, the Israeli bombing came just hours after another attack by the Jewish state on the outskirts of the capital Damascus that killed at least two civilians.

Separately, Hezbollah claimed five additional attacks against northern Israel, including two using Iranian-made “Falaq” projectiles against a group of soldiers Jal al Allam and the Zibdin Barracks, a recurring target of the armed formation in the disputed Chebaa Farms.

According to the Observatory, the Israeli bombings this morning targeted weapons depots belonging to Hezbollah, which Israel has been fighting on the Israeli-Lebanese border since October last year and against which it carries out parallel attacks on Syrian territory.
