Hezbollah attacks the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights

This Friday, the Lebanese Shiite group Hezbollah reported in a statement that dozens of rockets had been fired at Israeli positions in support of its ally Iran.

“In response to enemy attacks on villages and civilian homes in the south, including the recent attack on the cities of Al Taybeh and Ayta al Shaab, Islamic Resistance fighters fired dozens of Katyusha rockets at enemy artillery bunkers in Al Zaoura,” the text said Hezbollah released.

The attackers also assured that it was an action in support of the Palestinian people facing the clashes in the Gaza Strip.

As a result, the Israeli army said it had identified up to 40 launches from Lebanese territory, “some of which were intercepted,” while the rest “hit open areas” and caused no injuries.

In response, they attacked several cities in southern Lebanon to eliminate threats.
