Mumbai: Four children of the same family drowned in the Krishna River in the Indian state of Telangana.
According to an Indian media report, the tragic incident occurred in the Krishna river in Gadwal district of Telangana when a family went to the Krishna river after attending a wedding. Drowned.
The people present on the spot wailed and tried to save them, but due to the rapid flow of water, they failed to save their loved ones.
Confirming the incident, the police said that the deceased have been identified as 17-year-old Afrin, 8-year-old Samir, 7-year-old Nosheen and 15-year-old Rehan. All the deceased were residents of Vellore village in Mandal.
The bodies of all the people who drowned have been taken out and handed over to their heirs. When four young bodies were found in the same house, the area was plunged into mourning.
