Russia has rejected the EU’s statement that Russia is not interested in peace talks with Ukraine.

Speaking to journalists in Moscow, the spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, reacted to the statement of the head of the European Union’s foreign policy department, Joseph Borrell, and dismissed these statements as baseless and convinced that it was Ukraine that had backed away from talks under foreign pressure.
