The actor, known for his intense on-screen presence, also addressed perceptions of his serious demeanor. He admitted to a somewhat solitary upbringing, which led him to process many thoughts internally. Rane explained that this personal history might contribute to his reserved nature.

He also commented on his relatively infrequent appearances in films. Rane suggested that audience ticket purchases directly influence opportunities for actors. He believes that the recent sales for Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat are now opening new doors for him.

In Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, Rane plays a passionate lover, while Sonam Bajwa’s role is described as quite unique. Bajwa expressed her enjoyment of the challenging character. She felt blessed to work with Rane, citing his seriousness towards his craft as a significant learning experience.

Producer Anshul Garg praised Bajwa’s performance, noting her clear, Delhi-Uttar Pradesh accented Hindi. He stated that the film is poised to change the audience’s perception of her primarily as a Punjabi film star. Bajwa clarified that she was born in Uttarakhand and raised in Uttar Pradesh, making Hindi her daily language.

She highlighted that she also speaks, reads, and writes Punjabi due to her Sikh family background. Bajwa explained that the perception of her Hindi not being strong is merely because she frequently works in Punjabi cinema.

Garg recounted his decision to greenlight the film based solely on director Milap Zaveri’s energetic narration. He was confident in the script’s appeal to audiences, promising plenty of "masala" and excellent music. The box office figures now validate that confidence.

He further revealed that five of the film’s songs have already become blockbusters. Garg had predicted to Rane early on that at least four songs would be hits. This strong musical component has undoubtedly contributed to the film’s current success.
