IND vs AUS 1st ODI Match: The first match of the ODI series is played today between India and Australia. Hardik Pandya, captaining for the first time in ODIs, won the toss and decided to bowl first. His decision also turned out to be correct. The Australian team was expected to score at least 300, but the entire team was only able to score 188 runs. The team were unable to even play the full 50 overs of their quota and were back at the pavilion in 35.4 overs. After this, the India team had a score of just 189 runs. As the first innings ended, it was believed that the India team would easily win this match. But the Indian team also continued to have setbacks. Meanwhile, there were high expectations from a player, but he also disappointed today. Not that this disappointment has come his way for the first time, even before this, the flop performance has continued, he’s continually being given chances, but he’s not taking the name of getting runs.

Suryakumar Yadav became a victim of the golden duck

Suryakumar Yadav was selected in the India squad for the India vs Australia Test series. He had a chance to make his debut in this series, but was ruled out after the first game and then unable to return for the entire series. However, Suryakumar Yadav is not yet considered a test hitter, because he is known to hit explosively. Following this, he was expected to bat in the ODI series as this format suits him. Today, when the top order of Team India quickly disintegrated, Suryakumar Yadav was expected to play for some time and after he was ready he would score runs and give Team India victory but this could not happen. Suryakumar Yadav was dismissed on the first ball and couldn’t even open the account for him. Surya became a victim of Mitchell Starc. Who are considered among the deadliest bowlers not only in Australia but in the world. Starc throws a thin ball that is close to the stump. The ball went in after falling and hit Surya’s pad. Due to this, Surya got upset. Although the referee refused to give it to him. But captain Steve Smith felt Surya was out, he spoke to the bowler and wicket-keeper and demanded DRS. When the third referee watched the replays on television, he discovered that the ball was hitting the stumps. After this he had to return to the pavilion.

Suryakumar Yadav hasn’t scored half a century in ODIs for a year

It’s not like Suryakumar Yadav came out early like this for the first time. It’s been a long time since he played ODI and in the last year, not even half a century has come out of his bat. Surya Kumar Yadav made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka on 18 July 2021 and then scored a half-century in the next match, followed by good and big tackles with his bat in a few matches. But for the last year, his bat is silent in ODI at least. His last half century came against the West Indies on February 9, 2022, when he scored 64 off 83 balls. But since then, he left a great entry, not even half a century has come. Another thing is that he has done well in T20 and currently he is the number one hitter in the ICC T20 rankings. If his bat fails in the remaining two matches, then it is certain that his bat can be cut from the ODI team.
