Riyadh: The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia has banned four items for Hajj pilgrims during air travel.
The ministry has banned passengers on the holy pilgrimage to Makkah and Madinah from bringing four items on the plane.
In an infographic on its Twitter account, the ministry has identified four items that are prohibited while traveling by air.

These items include plastic bags, water bottles and open materials, loose and unpackaged materials and items wrapped in cloth.
It should be noted that 9,000 Hajj pilgrims were transported to Saudi Arabia through various flights from Pakistan. In this regard, PIA spokesman said that 327 Hajj pilgrims departed for Madinah Munawara on the first Hajj flight PK743 from Lahore.
