Government raises all fuels between 2 and 5 pesos

Fuels will have rises of between 2 and 5 pesos by order of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, which announced the new prices today.

Industry and Commerce reported that premium gasoline will rise five pesos from tomorrow, to be sold at RD$283.60 per gallon.

Regular gasoline prices will rise 4 pesos, until they are sold at RD$266.50 per gallon.

Optimum diesel will also go up 5 pesos, which from now on will be sold at RD$233.10. Regular diesel will go up 4 pesos and starting tomorrow it will cost RD$212.60.

As for liquefied petroleum gas, the authorities reported an increase of 2 pesos per gallon, and it will be sold at 146.60 per gallon.

Natural gas will maintain its price of RD$28.97 per cubic meter.

Other fuels will rise up to eight pesos

The other fuels will register increases close to nine pesos. The avtur will go up by RD$8.70, so it will be sold at RD$194.38; kerosene will increase by RD$8.80 and will cost RD$223.60. The price of fuel oil will increase by RD$5.31 and will be sold at RD$158.95. Finally, fuel oil 1% will have an increase of RD$4.28 and its price will be RR$176.29.
