Government begins delivery of cards to beneficiaries who have not been able to withdraw subsidies

Gobierno inicia entrega de tarjetas a beneficiarios no han podido retirar subsidios

The Social Subsidy Administrator (ADESS) will start replacing cards for people participating in the Aliméntate and Bonogas social programs, who have not been able to withdraw their aid due to a failure in the money transfer system of the BHD bank, a financial institution that manages the batch of beneficiaries residing in the affected localities.

At the request of President Luis Abinader, the ADESS will begin the delivery this Friday, February 25 and Saturday, February 26, for which it will deploy a team of collaborators who will serve as facilitators for more than 10,000 beneficiaries, residents of the Azua, Barahona and in the National District.

The beneficiaries will have their cards containing the subsidies for food and cooking gas replaced, so that they can pick up these products at the establishments of the Social Supply Network (RAS) in the shortest time possible.

The delivery of cards will begin at 9:00 in the morning and will end at 4:00 in the afternoon, and it will take place at Club Los Cachorros in the Cristo Rey sector, in the National District; in the Azua de Compostela Sports Center, in Azua and in the Barahona Olympic Village, simultaneously.

Similarly, the operation will resume on Monday, March 28 and Tuesday, March 1, at the indicated time, immediately after the Independence holiday, in the Bahoruco, Independencia, Pedernales, and Santo Domingo provinces, so that all affected people can receive your means of payment.

The ADESS reiterates that the Government has not excluded any person who currently receives the subsidy, and informs that those who confront some type of inconvenience can contact the telephone numbers 809-920-2081 and within the country without charge, at 1-809- 200-0063/0064, as well as through the digital platform adessenlinea.gob.do and our social networks: adessrd for facebook and twitter and adessdo on instagram.
