Unveiled at the latest Google I/O, the Pixel Buds Pro are Google’s latest high-end Bluetooth headphones. These hit the market to compete with the AirPods Pro and can now be reserved.
However, there is at least one user who has already received the headphones ahead of time. Taking into account that the official launch only takes place on July 28, we already have real images provided by this user on Reddit.
Kevin Saindou will have pre-purchased the Pixel Buds Pro at Fnac in France on July 21. The difference is that he received the earphones earlier than expected, and as such, he shared several photos of them on the Google Pixel subreddit.
Google Pixel Buds Pro don’t come with a USB-C cable included
The user starts by mentioning that the Pixel Buds Pro do not come with a USB-C cable in the box. So you’ll have to use one you already have, or use wireless charging. It is also possible to charge it by reverse charging, on a smartphone with this functionality.
In this first test, the active noise cancellation, the transparency mode and the activation of the multipoint Bluetooth mode are praised. The user also shared 4 voice samples that demonstrate the quality of the Pixel Buds Pro microphone.
It is also mentioned that the Buds Pro are “definitely more comfortable than the previous version”. As always, this is something that will depend on the user. What no longer depends on anyone, is that these can be bought from Portugal.
