Google is offering university students a free one-year subscription to Google One AI Premium, which includes access to Gemini Advanced and other AI tools in Google Workspace like Gemini Live. This service normally costs around $20 per month.
The package includes features like NotebookLM for document analysis and Whisk for image and video editing. Students will also get 2TB of storage on Google Drive to store their schoolwork.
To sign up, students need a “.edu” email address and be at least 18 years old. This offer is only available in the US. The sign-up deadline is June 30, 2025, and the service will be active until July 2026. Google will ask students to verify their status in 2026.
