Jordi Gandía (High Level – Gsport Grupo Tormo) beats Pau Llaneras (Arabay Vas) and Sinuhé Fernández (Aluminios Cortizo) in the “Infierno Toledano” of the IV Chineta Memorial. Burguillos de Toledo, the race begins at 12 noon with a squad of 180 runners and a 154 km route on a route with no major unevenness but with narrow, mousetrap roads, mixed with wide and very open roads. From the start the first attacks, and teams with very clear ideas ALUMINOS CORTIZO AND ARABAY are seen, already in the first sector of the day (N°11 Gitanemberg) David Delgado Higueruelo (Aluminios Cortizo) won.

We arrive at sector 8 Casasberg km 60, 3 brave men start (runners from A.Cortizo, Arambay and S.Froiz), thus they will pass sector 7 Noezberg, they head towards the Totanés Flying Finish Line (km80), (1 ° A.Cortizo 2° Arabay 3° S.Froiz) having 1m 20s to the big peloton. The next hot spot, MV de Mazarambroz: 1° Arabay 155, 2° Ulevel, 3° Bic.Rodríguez Extremadura. Thus, sector 5 Mazamberg, sector 4 Minemberg and sector 3 Noecasberg would enter one of the most important moments of the day: the consecutive trident in less than 15km. Here the runners go very fast and with a lot of tension due to the narrowness of the roads. Passing sector no. 3 Noecasberg (winner PAu Torrent (Zamora Enamora), we had 30km to go between the towns of Casasbuenas and Polán in which, in a short breather from the peloton, 9 riders jump, obtaining at this moment 1 minute 20 seconds of advantage by presenting himself to the

2nd Special Sprint. We reach the last 20 km, where the refreshment station closes and we begin to go down the bastide towards Toledo Imperial. Finishing the descent and without rest we would face the key sectors of the race: n° 2 Petirberg and n° 1 youoledberg. The great attack of the number 156 Pau Llaneras Casa (Arabay-Vas Balearic Islands) took place, reaching section 1 with an advantage in the Toledber sector of approximately 15 seconds over the chasing duo formed by Jordi Gandía Ribera (High Level Gsport-Grupo Tormo ) and Sinuhé Fernández Rodríguez (Aluminios Cortizo) Pau looked like he had made a very brave bet to try to win alone.

Less than 5km away, the excellent chasing duo became a trio after pushing themselves to the limit to hunt down the escapee and with this great trio they appeared in the final sprint in Burguillos de Toledo. There were 200 meters to go, the High Level runner and just behind the Arabay runner between the two, kept an eye on which wheel would be the right one, at 50m from the finish line it seemed that the Cortizo runner lacked a little speed, while the High Level continued down the center of the road. Just at that moment, the Arabay got to the left of the High Level runner and for a moment seemed to be getting closer to contesting the victory, but in the end it was the High Level runner who raised his arms with relative difference. A fair and classy podium for the memorial.
