First National: All Boys and Chicago animate the promotion classic

Nueva Chicago will visit All Boys this Saturday in one of the great classics of promotion in what will be the start of the first date of the First National 2023 and through Zone A. The game will take place from 5:10 p.m. at the Islas Stadium Malvinas, in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Floresta, with the refereeing of Pablo Giménez and televised by TyC Sports. In addition, there will be three other games on the day: Board of Trustees-Brown of Puerto Madryn, at 5:00 p.m.; Alvarado-San Martín de San Juan, at 8:45 p.m., and Defensores de Belgrano-Temperley, at 9:20 p.m. (TyC). Zone B, made up of 18 teams, one less than B, will begin next week.

All Boys, with Pablo Frontini as coach (last year he had a great campaign in Defensores de Belgrano) will play on his home ground against Nueva Chicago, whose coach is Tomas Arrotea, who took over after his arrival from Real Pilar.

The “Albo” no longer has Octavio Bianchi, Ignacio Vásquez and Fernando Brandán, but it was reinforced and will seek the leading role as always, while Chicago – which will wear the name of Página 12 on its shirt as its main sponsor – added, among others, the forward of Estudiantes de La Plata Aaron Spetale and the goalkeeper Daniel Monllor of his namesake from Buenos Aires.

This classic was played 121 times and with remarkable parity, 41 wins for those from Floresta, 40 for Torito and equalized on 40 occasions.

Patronato, with Walter Otta as DT, champion of the Argentine Cup and with the notable chance of playing in the Copa Libertadores, began his dream of returning to the LPF at home against Brown from Puerto Madryn, led by Gaston Esmerado.

Defensores de Belgrano, with Leonardo Lemos as coach and a high-level reinforcement like Mauro Fornica, will be local in Nuñez against Temperley, with the return of Adrán Arregui and José María Bianco as DT.

In Mar del Plata, Alvarado, with coach César Vigevani, will be local to Minella against San Martín de San Juan, who hired Jonathan Bottineli and has Andrés Yllana as coach.

The date will culminate on Sunday with Gimnasia (Mendoza)-Defensores Unidos, at 5:00 p.m. by TyC Sports and Guemes-Agropecuario, at 6:00 p.m.
