Final of the Eurocup: 11 arrested for racism

According to a report by a foreign news agency, British police arrested 11 people on the charge of racial discrimination against black players who lost their penalties in the final of Euro 2020.

The British Football Police Unit received 600 reports of racist comments sent to black England players after the defeat, in which 207 were convicted.

Among those who made racist comments on UK social media there were 34, while those arrested included 10 men and a woman between the ages of 18 and 63.

It should be noted that Italy beat England 3-2 on penalty kicks in the final of Euro 2020. The black footballer was subjected to racial discrimination for missing penalty kicks.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said that the ban on watching gangster football matches in England extends to those who racially discriminate against football players on social media.
