Fatif’s decision today will be based on the PTI government’s actions, according to a US think tank

Kogelman added in his tweet that major steps have been taken during the PTI regime to remove Pakistan from the FATF’s gray list, so any decision taken by the FATF today would be based on the steps taken by the PTI government.

It should be noted that today, on the last day of the ongoing FATF meeting in Berlin, a decision will be taken on whether to retain or remove Pakistan from the Financial Action Task Force’s gray list.

The FATF chief will announce the countries removed from the gray list in a press conference after today’s meeting. The meeting reviewed the performance of other countries including Pakistan.

The Pakistani delegation is being led by Minister of State Hina Rabbani Khar instead of the Finance Minister. According to reports, the chances of Pakistan getting out of the gray list are bright.
