Fairly OddParents’ Inspiration: Biblical Angels Cosmo and Wanda Represent

What you need to know: The recent episode of the ‘Fairly OddParents’ reboot reveals that Cosmo and Wanda are biblical angels, and we tell you what kind.

What a stir the recent episode of ‘The Fairly OddParents’ caused on social media. And no, it’s not because of the absurd conversation that occurred a few months ago about the new protagonist of the reboot, but by Cosmo and Wanda and their identity as angels.

If you didn’t know, the new reboot of ‘The Fairly OddParents’ starring the boy in the pink cap ended in 2017, while this new series has as its main character Hazel Wells, a ten-year-old girl who has just moved to the city of Dimmadelphia thanks to her dad’s new job.

Hazel doesn’t adapt very well to change: her older brother Antony just left for university, and at the new school her classmates don’t understand her sense of humor. What’s more, she gets teased by Doug Dimmadome’s grandson (if he’s the owner from the Dimmsdale dimmadome where Timmy and his friends went to see ‘Crash Nebula on Ice’).

A very, very deep reference on the part of Butch Hartman to put Cosmo and Wanda as biblical angels. Although now – and after reading all this – we only have one question left: So what are Pixies in the magical world?
