Expertos invitan a comerciantes dominicanos a utilizar Amazon para mercantilizar productos

The director of the Association of Industries of the Dominican Republic (AIRD), Celso Juan Marranzini, and the head of the General Directorate of Customs (DGA), Eduardo Sanz Lovaton, presented the opportunities to increase international trade by exporting their products via Amazon.

It was in the AIRD Business Tower where Marranzini He called on Dominican merchants to invest in improving their distributions.

“It is time to make an effort and learn, to invest in the development of this type of channel, to take advantage of a market of billions of dollars, for companies that seek the best and the diversity, which we can offer in multiple lines. ”. Marranzini affirmed.

In addition, he added that “the growth of exports is, for industrialists, a permanent objective, convinced that this makes companies great, elevates them to the category of world-class companies, places them in the race for foreign markets”.

Also, by continuing the program of activity, Sanz Lovatón offered all the necessary support that companies may need to guide them in their learning process, training and facilities to export their products via Amazon.

So, he expressed that the initiative seeks to encourage Creole companies to export more and use the facilities provided by the government through the DGA and other public institutions to publicize their products abroad, as well as intends to internationalize and create brands that represent the Dominican Republic as a country brand, as is the case with other companies that have already achieved it.

For these two figures, these changes and transformations have a lot to do, precisely, with the intensification of the use of information technology, the internet of things, the flexibility and agility to adapt to the disruptions typical of the volatility of the world, and not least the way we should do things.

The initiatives were shared this Thursday morning when the Thematic Breakfast was held“Amazon; Effective Export Tool for Dominican Products”, an activity that also brought together technicians and specialists in the field, as well as Johannes Kelner, founding partner of Punto Shop Market Place; Nelson de los Santos, sales manager for the international market of Induban, Vespacini Rodríguez of Universal Caribean Supply and Jonathan de Peña of Little Island Honey.
