Ethereum up 11%, polkadot 12%, this crypto over 20%

Bitcoin (BTC) reacted surprisingly positively to the news of the Federal Reserve’s rate hike. A number of large altcoins reacted even more positively and are strongly in the green today. Several cryptocurrencies are even more than 20% higher than 24 hours ago. The total market cap of crypto is up 6.6% to $1,095 trillion.

Ethereum rises by 11%

Ethereum (ETH) had been on the rise for several weeks, but has corrected in recent days and briefly dipped below $1,400 on Tuesday evening. By the time the Fed announced the rate hikes, the ether had already recovered to $1,500.

Then, ETH jumped and briefly peaked early this morning at $1,670, its highest price since June 11. However, ETH still appears to be struggling to hold above $1,650 and is currently falling to $1,624. Still, ETH is up 11% today.

TRX, XRP, DOGE, BNB significantly in the plus

Tron (TRX) made a smaller jump, but is still 3.4% in the plus and comes in at $0.68. Shiba inu (SHIB) has already risen faster and is up 5.1% today with a price of $0.0000113. Ripple (XRP) peaked at $0.36 last night, but is now falling to $0.355 and is in the green 5.5%. Dogecoin (DOGE) has not yet been able to recapture $0.67, but is already up 6.4%. Binance coin (BNB) is also 6.4% in the plus and comes in at $268.

ADA, SOL, MATIC, AVAX rise even faster

Cardano (ADA) peaked at $0.52 last night and appears to be holding above $0.5 for the time being, bringing the price to a positive 7.1% today. Solana (SOL) is even up 8% and briefly moved above $40, but is now below that again. Polygon (MATIC) is holding above $0.87 this morning, which means that the price is no less than 8.3% in the green. Avalanche (AVAX) is currently seeking support around USD 23 and is up 8.7%.

Polka Dot Up 12%

But it is polkadot (DOT) that rose the fastest among the largest crypto this time after FOMC. The DOT price briefly touched $8 last night, but is currently falling to $7.6. DOT is today no less than 12% in the plus.

Crypto top 100 hardest risers

Not a single price from the top 100 largest crypto is red today. Zcash (ZEC), chiliz (CGZ), iota (MIOTA), raceway (LRC), axie infinity (AXS), ecomi (OMI), maker (MKR), vechain (VET), cosmos (ATOM), internet computer (ICP) ) and near (NEAR) are all up about 9% today.

For waves (WAVES), flow (FLOW), dash (DASH) and okb (OKB) this is already 10%. Kusama (KSM), curve (CRV), ceth (CETH), convex finance (CVX) and litecoin (LTC) are up 11%. Ecash (XEC) is up 12% in the last 24 hours, aave (AAVE) up 13% and apecoin (APE) and graph (GRT) up 14%. Bitcoin SV (BSV), neo (NEO), eos (EOS) are up 15%. Thorchain (RUNE) 16% and qtum (QTUM) 21%.

Uniswap (UNI), synthetix (SNX), bitcoin cash (BCH) and celsius (CEL) are already up 24%. Bitcoin gold (BTG) is even up by 28% and ethereum classic (ETC) by a whopping 30%. Lido (LDO) is the fastest climber out of the top 100 today and is 37% in the plus.
