Entities join forces to identify job opportunities for people with disabilities

The Association of Industries of the Dominican Republic (AIRD) and the Francina Foundation signed an agreement to together unite wills in favor of identifying, promoting and articulating opportunities for productive development in the industrial sector for people with disabilities.

The agreement was signed by the president of AIRD, Celso Juan Marranzini and the president of the Francina Foundation, Francina Melissa Hungary, which will last for five years.

Both institutions will coordinate the "Annual Survey of Autonomy Opportunities", in the industrial sector of the country, then developing actions to make the survey results and identified opportunities visible.

According to a note sent to the media, AIRD will be a channel for the organization of workshops on good inclusion practices in productive environments and job profile designs, which will be provided by the Francina Foundation.

In addition, the institution that groups the industrialists will become part of the council of the Observatory of Inclusion and Accessibility Policies of the Dominican Republic.

The Foundation will accompany AIRD in the design and execution of social responsibility programs aimed at the equal participation of people with disabilities.

Through this agreement, AIRD undertakes to accompany the Francina Foundation in establishing dialogue with public and private actors for the implementation of productive development actions for people with disabilities.
