“El trío” is a fun and provocative comedy of entanglements that features the performances of Scarlet Hernández, Pachy Méndez and Auro Sónico, three established names from the tables that will be presented next Saturday, November 20 at the Juan Lockward bar of the National Theater.
The piece is the authorship of Marina Frías, who in the last five years has become one of the most prolific playwrights on the Dominican cultural scene. Through his staging and stories, he proposes laughter as a reflective trigger. “This work is no exception. We propose a light, mischievous story that will put the audience in the shoes of the actors ”, said the creator.
“El trío” tells the story of Alma (Scarlet Hernández) a woman who is sickly jealous of her husband Gonzi (Auro Sónico) with her cousin Aidnel (Pachy Méndez). Some situations will have to happen before suspicions are confirmed or dismissed. The tickets will be on sale the day of the performance at the National Theater Bar.
Plot
Scarlet Hernandez, like Alma, is a woman whose husband is jealous of everyone, especially with her cousin Aidnel, who she thinks had a daughter with her husband Gonzi.
Auro Sónico, like Gonzi, met them both 20 years ago and they did mischief when they were young, playing the bottle and some “other little things.”
Pachy Méndez, like cousin Aidnel, is a crazy person who knows no rules and who likes her because of her way of being. She has always been very flirtatious with Gonzi and, although nothing is what it seems, on some occasion she will have slept with her cousin’s husband.
