You already have your new weapon. Efrén Llarena has received the first Skoda Fabia Rally2 to arrive in Spain, with which he will defend the title of European champion achieved last year. Together with his co-driver, the two-time continental champion Sara Fernández, they have shown proud the car recently arrived at the ships of Race Seven, the team with which they compete.
Deliveries of the new Skoda have been delayed on initial forecasts. Despite the car’s victorious debut in November for Andreas Mikkelsen at the Lausitz Rally in Germany, the different units are arriving with dropper to the clients. And the first to arrive in Spain was that of Llarena and Fernández, who will soon carry out a test on gravel to prepare for the opening date of the year in the European Championship, the Portuguese Rally Serras de Fafe (March 10-12).
The next unit that should arrive in Spain is the one that corresponds to ‘Cohete’ Suárez, with which he will try to recover the national crown that he already achieved two years ago. The results of the new Czech car in the World Cup are demonstrating its competitiveness, since in Monte Carlo Nikolay Gryazin prevailed (although a strange penalty took him the victory) and in Sweden last weekend Oliver Solberg did it, both at the wheel of respective Fabia.
