Dutch crypto exchange Finst enters the battle; cheaper & reliable

You may have already noticed, especially if you in the Randstad lives, but a new Dutch crypto exchange has made its appearance; Finnish. The exchange promises attractive features for users and is determined to compete with the established players in the market. In any case, Finst is already doing well.

Finnish exchange

Finnish exists today only less than 3 months. In January of this year, Finst was founded by a team that used to work at a giant stock trading platform, namely DEGIRO.

DEGIRO is a true understanding for everyone who is next to cryptocurrencies also invests or trades in equities and the platform has already become one of the largest players in Europe. The founders of Finst therefore have a huge amount of experience and knowledge about how they lead an exchange to success.

To actually achieve that success, however, they will have to compete with competition. In the Netherlands, exchanges such as Bitvavo and Binance are currently still the trading platform of choice for many crypto investors.

The battle has begun!

However, Finst expects to change this in the short term. How does Finst want to achieve that? That is actually quite simple. Finst is the cheapest exchange currently available in the Netherlands. It offers trading costs that are more than 80% lower than the competitor. Finst charges a minuscule percentage of no more than 0.15% for each transaction, and gives new users a temporary $5,000 free trading when you use code ‘INSIDERS’ when registering.

Exchange security has also become a thorny issue for people who use exchanges to store their crypto. We saw that last year ftx went under and thousands of users may whistle for their money.

Finst has therefore designed their exchange in an extremely secure manner. For example, no user credits will be lent to or transferred to other parties. After all, we have seen what the consequences of this can be.

All in all, it looks like Finst wants to replicate DEGIRO’s success, and has the capabilities to make it happen. A welcome addition to the range of exchanges in the Netherlands.
