New Delhi: An Indian Airlines Air India plane taking off from Mumbai airport had to make an emergency landing at the airport due to an engine failure in the air.
According to Indian media reports, an Air India flight operated by Tata Group made an emergency landing at Mumbai Airport.
According to an Air India spokesperson, all the passengers were sent to Bangalore via another flight. He said that Air India attaches great importance to safety and our staff is skilled in dealing with these situations. The investigation into the matter has begun.
It should be noted that Air India’s ‘A320 New’ aircraft has CFM leap engines installed.
