As a way to educate, provide values ​​and integrate children into the practice of baseball, the Dream Big Little League was inaugurated on Wednesday, an entity that will provide infants with the first tools they require in the discipline that has given them the greatest achievements. to the country.

The new sports entity will have its operational headquarters at the Hogar Escuela Santo Domingo Savio and will have five categories U-6, U-8, U-10, U-12 and U-14, each of which will have a quota of at least 25 children.

Sócrates Aguasvivas, who is the executive director of DBLL, said that Mondays and Wednesdays from 3 to 6 in the afternoon will be training and teaching days, while Saturdays will be game days, the latter at the softball stadium in Engineering and Mining.

In each of the categories there will be a specialized coaching staff, each category will have three coaches, who will teach you all kinds of fundamentals, as well as learning more about the game.

Apart from baseball, there will also be a coach and two assistants in groups of a maximum of 25 children. In addition, a medical team led by a sports doctor, a physiotherapist and a sports psychologist. Operations will begin on March 1 of this year, open to the public.
