The international event Formula Kite Championship 2023 will be held in its third installment in which the best representatives of this sport worldwide will meet, since this time the competition will qualify for the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago de Chile.
The Dominican Sailing Federation (FEDOVELA) has worked to put the country at the center of this sports discipline and this activity confirms it, since the entire international sports community will be watching this important qualifying competition. This year with the participation of more than 30 athletes and 17 countries.
The directors of the Dominican Sailing Federation (FEDOVELA) feel very grateful for the support and support that the sports community, the Dominican press and the government have shown up to now, in relation to the development of this sport as a world tourist attraction.
“We have set ourselves the goal of turning the DR into a world attraction to practice this type of sport and I think we are on the right track. In addition, we are going with the hope that the Dominican Republic will be able to qualify for the first time in this sport category, for the 2023 Pan American Games”, added Raúl Aguayo, vice president of the Federation.
